[P2 Card Offload Step-by-Step]

1. Check to make sure you have the latest P2 card drivers installed. (particularly if you are using >16GB cards).

- drivers can be downloaded here: https://eww.pavc.panasonic.co.jp/pro-av/support/desk/e/download.htm

- Once you are sure you have the latest driver installed, restart your computer. then, ZAP P-RAM. Hold down (apple + option_ P + R) on start up, wait til second bong then release keys. This will refresh the system and hopefully the P2 card will now mount.

If not,

2. make sure the hard ware is functioning properly.

i Check to make sure the P2 card works; this can be done by putting it back into the camera if you have it (and if you do have a camera still, you can use this to dump cards also. Steps listed below.)

ii Check to make sure the computer recognizes the due, adapter. Put your adapter into the slot, when you put in the card, there should be an icon listed on the menu bar. Or, go into Apple icon --> About this mac. Click on the "more info" icon. Under Hardware --> PC card, you should see some data.

If both of these elements are working, then likely its the connection between the card and the adapter. Depending on which generation, the connection could be quite loose. Try to push it as tight as u can.

Hopefully, by now, the P2 card is mounting in your system. If not, the we'll have to find alternative means to getting the data out. (from getting another adapter, dumping off a camera, or using another laptop).
